On New Beginnings

Growing up, I’d often spend the first Sunday of each month waking up to the sound of gospel music shaking the walls, my mom’s unofficial alarm clock. The smell of bleach and Pine-Sol filled the air, and the clatter of pans meant she’d already started on dinner: fried chicken, baked mac and cheese, collard greens, and sweet tea on deck. It was a ritual. A rhythm. A resetting.

As an adult, not much has changed, except now I wake up around 10 or 11 am, make a latte, mop the floors, and cook myself a well-plated brunch with all the fixings before curling up on the couch. I clean house, in more ways than one.

That’s what The Sunday Brunch will always be about. Not just a newsletter, but a pause. A moment to check in, and reset. The Sunday Brunch is the official newsletter of Sunday & Co., bringing you strategy, culture, and conversation, for all your marketing needs, insights and brand growth and strategy, served fresh every month.

What is Sunday & Co.?
